The Ghost of Fear

Abusing and fighting each other Mangu and Nangu, both brothers, were celebrating the festival of Holi. Neighbors were enjoying the scene.

A Policeman crossing there, heard this noise. His eyes brightened. Abusing them more loudly, he brought them to Police Station. The pride of drunkeness and pleasure of intoxication had disappeared and now they looked thorough gentlemen. But the Policeman did not accept this gentle behavior. Brightness of his eyes has deepened.

"No, we will never fight, S.H.O. Sahib," one of them addressed a constable as S.H.O.

"We are brothers, real brothers, Sir!" The other was trying to prove their blood relations.

"You rascals, once jailed shall learn everything. Only the prison will teach you."-The Policeman gruntled. As they thought of closed prison; they came to senses. Both of them searched their pockets. Swinging currency notes were burdened heavily in Policeman's hands.

The Policeman's voice softened," Go, I allow you to leave because you are real brother with good behavior, Otherwise I would never spare anybody."

A few steps away from Police Station, the joy of intoxication boosted again. They stared each other eye to eye.
